The Orange County Transgender Coalition seeks to unite transgender and allied groups to foster greater collaboration to effectively address the physical, emotional, and social needs of the transgender community.

The Orange County Transgender Coalition offers educational opportunities for medical and mental health professionals, friends and family, employers, education institutions, municipalities, and law enforcement.

Coalition education efforts aim to break stereotypes; and counter discrimination, harassment and violence against people who are Transgender.

Presentations cover the transition process for the transgender person, standards of care for medical and mental health professionals, and the importance of understanding and acceptance by family, employers, and friends.

The Orange County Transgender Coalition (OCTC) provides advocacy for transgender people when it is most needed. Our members are ready to meet with city officials, educators, and business managers whenever a transgender man or woman needs our help.
